Bartow County Library: Georgia Writers Panel

Description

Three well-known Georgia writers, Raymond Atkins, Ann Hite, and Lisa Russell, will discuss how they approach writing about the towns, people and landscapes of North Georgia.   Raymond Atkins is a novelist and essayist known for his books South of the Etowah, Camp Redemption and Sweetwater Blues.  Ann Hite is a novelist known for her books Ghost on Black Mountain,The Storycatcher and Sleeping Above Chaos.   Lisa Russell writes popular history and recently published Lost Towns of North Georgia.  The authors will be signing and selling books after the panel. The panel is co-sponsored by Reinhardt University’s Etowah Valley Low-Residency MFA in Creative Writing.
